The Household Dictionary

Bub-a-Jub : One of my nicknames.
Family-Jingles : A family of field mice , that live under our shed. Mum feeds them everyday, Dad shakes his head at the premium quality rodent food Mum buys!
Finch-watch : When Mum notices a small bird on the feeding station and starts squealing with excitement. If Dad is upstairs, she rings him on his mobile to get him to look out the window. Dad shakes his head.
Georges : A small toad with an injured arm that Mum found in the road on our walk one day. She brought him home in her coat pocket and settled him in our garden. He lives under the shed and sometimes comes out when Mum waters the garden.
Insect -Pat-Slide : A small business card that Mum has decorated with a hand drawn bee. Based on the Patient-slides used in hospitals, Mum carry's it so that when she finds insects on the pavement, she helps them on to the pat slide and then puts them safely on a grass verge so people wont stamp on them.
Jubbing - To run around, seemingly randomly, but with a specific plan in one's head.
Piggy-Trotter : One of Moonpig's many names, and also a nickname for his fat feet.
Tosh-up : To feed one of the outside family members ( such as Georges, Jingles, Pigeons, etc).
